Is this game still on? I need to know if I'm to arrange cover to take the day off and play the game.
Thanks Jimbo

This game has been cancelled. Just got an email today. :(

However since I already negotiated the time off with my other half, I'm going along to the game thats been organised for the 23rd anyway. Its now a no rentals and no under 18's day, and no marshalls as they'll be playing. I'll wear WW2 kit if anyone else is still turning up in theirs.

It would have been nice for the organiser to have let everyone know but, thanks for informing those who may have been looking forward to it.

I popped into the CS shop a few weeks back and Russ did say that bookings were thin on the ground. Shame that as I've not taken part in a WW2 event yet as most seem to be too far away for me to attend. If a game is still going to be run on the 23rd I'll go in WW2 kit anyway too.

The 23rd has now been designated a "Sunday Roast" day as explained by Russ in the post linked below. Over 18's only, no hire guns, no two tone and no lunch being the salient points.

Just a bit of info about what the game 'Sunday Roast' means, well first of all the game name means nothing, I’m not cooking you dinner :)

The game day and games run pretty much the same as norm but there are a few added rules for those playing and those are:

No Under 18's
No Hire Guns
No 2 Tones
No Lunch

Tea and Coffee is available all day, on site shop with ammo, pyro, gas, drinks, choc and battery charging also still available.

Cost for the day is £15

These days have been a great success, fast paced and fantastic players, and we will continue to do them we hope once a month provided the CSW calendar is clear.

Sunday Roast game dates will appear in the CS game date threads and on the website

Any questions just drop me a PM or contact us direct.

Aye indeed I will be, I've got a Sten and a Garand to try for the first time.

I'll be in my Wiltshire's kit.

Shame the WW2 game was cancelled, but the "Sunday Roast" sounds like it should be good (No rentals, etc).
I'll be in my Brit Airborne gear with the sten and a couple of ham rolls stuffed in my ammo pouches.

Think he means just the WW2 event, the Sunday Roast is still up on their website.
