British forces
Any WW2 weapon, Sten & Bren would be iconic. Brens will require squads to work together to ensure ammo supply and they can be fired from the hip or deployed.
German forces
Any WW2 weapon, K98 and MGs would be iconic. 'Spandau' will have superiority of fire power but must be in deployed in fixed positions and crewed. They are re-positionable but cannot be fired from the hip or shoulder.
Grenades or mortars can be used by either side and in the absence of hard cover will result in death not injury. Players are expected not to pick up and return grenades and to take a good placement with grace and not run away.
