Could all players please make sure they carry a whistle (anything will do) and put on lanyard round your neck or in an accessible pocket.
Should you injure yourself out of other player's sight, get hopelessly lost or need assistance in a dangerous situation then repeated blasts will summon help.
Whistles won't be used for any other purpose.

Please carry water with you, as much as you can. Slight dehydration leads to headaches, irritability, lack of energy, tired muscles. Severe dehydration leads to cramps, sickness, dizziness, collapse. There are streams running through the site but can't be regarded as safe to drink.

For reference will there be any supply of water provided or will players have to bring all their water with them?

We will be bringing a couple of jerry cans of clean water but it would be a great help if players could bring a personal supply as well, suggest 5 litres.

Don't forget e-tools if you have them and toilet paper in zip-tie bag.
That antiseptic alcohol-based gel hand wash stuff is very good too - no need for towels, rub in and waft dry.
(This sort of stuff: http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/product171.asp better to buy own brands from normal chemists and supermarkets though)

In all seriousness I wouldnt recommend it. Beer has a diuretic effect and will make things far worse for you (I appreciate you may be joking but someone may take you seriously :) )

On the subject of alclihole, as we will have a Forestry Commission bod on site, it would be best if we kept the drinking to moderate imbibement of Friday night in Ludlow and a couple of beers for those who want to on-site. Obviously we can't stop you, but the gaming is going to be pretty intense, over a long period of time and on a VERY steep and difficult site to negotiate.

In short, don't get wasted............or fall in the fire.
