Look interesting yith as they got ladies on the front, are they ladies magazines for ladies or is it merely pictures to appease the men folk ?

They're magazines for menfolk...
Specifically soldiers... ![]()
I have reference to them being read during the first Chindit expedition.
There's stories, jokes, articles on stuff, cartoons (some saucy) and some erm... fashion photos?
I suspect women would find them a good read as well...
Not quite "Nuts"
Cool you'll have to scan any interesting snippets for me
note I wasn't insinuating you bought ladies mags
I wasn't sure how to word it so gave up and thought bollox if I offend

I may have to do that... I have a scanner now.
The last magazine I had was too big to scan. It was A3 sized. These are much easier at just a nice little A5. ![]()
Got a chance to compare my M1917 tunic with an original yesterday. Turns out Sanjay's work is pretty darn good when it comes to these tunics. ![]()

A great clean set of war dated blanco'd Brit webbing from sangrael. It has the shorter MkII pouches, '43 "war-economy" three piece cross straps, sleeve style water bottle carrier and No.4 bayonet frog. 'tis a nice set indeed ![]()

Mine came from the states, though I'm sure it no doubt originated elsewhere. What they look like flibs ?

Mine came from a company named http://www.innodeal.com originally...through a company called Timeholders in Hong Kong
One looks like this

The other is a bit smaller but has a Fokker Dr.I on the front and some etching on the back.
