Possibly issued, but never worn! GJ would always wear mountain boots - to show who they were.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Yes have to agree with Andy, however for airsoft low boots with puttees are fine :good:

Towards the end of the war GJ apparently started to get issued standard low boots due to supply shortages. For airsoft I use British army boots with puttees, you can't tell once the mud is on the boot!
GJ were also issued 'jack boots'. There are some photos of that in France, 1940. Just doesn't look right though. :?

Chef i've been looking for repo 1ltrs but dont think anyone makes them - the only option is to find an original one and replace them with the ones from hikki as they seem to be the best reproductions

I wanted a reproduction so I can drink from it without coming down with something  , I ended up padding out a standard size one to fit the larger cover :good:

I've found the opposite I've had a few originals that after a clean are perfect and some repos that have gone horrible and oxidised quicker and worse than any original - but I did crappy budget ones....another excuse to buy more kit! :happyclap:
