PS - Vehicles not included in our game (dark tunnels are )!
Sehr Gut ! Esp Like the moody one of Yith staring out looking for operation Sealion ot start .
Good piccies I liked the one of kermit with the watch what an impish grin, looks a top site
I like the nice MV's in the back ground.
Cracking stuff!
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
I like the grabbed shot of Kermit showing Yith an alternative method of handling an MP40 (and you won't find it in our CiA game rules either..)
fooking great photos
thank you for posting
i nearly blew chunks in me pants in anticipation
"Take that you rotton helping of strawberry flan!"
Joseph Porta to "strawberrys and cream", in the sven hassel book ,ogpu prison
Tooooooooo much info there!
Looks great, cant wait to go! All we need to do is get oddball to park his light tank at that door to stop the coward germans retreating!
I wonder which would actually come off worse between a plastic MP40 and a Steel brit army helmet?! I know what my money is on!
And the shot of Yith in the jeep with his hands up! Where on earth had you been crawling to get hands that dirty!
The agm mp40s are pretty solid, mostly metal apart from the grips which would have been bakelite on the real ones.
In fact *amazingly* solid shooter for
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
looks great. may have to go down for a pre wotan skirmish
Ah, that was Kermit's steel TOP MP40!
being a agm mp40 owner my moneys on the mp40. amazingly solid gun
Great pics CW... We all had a wonderful weekend down in Portsmouth!

That was all from the steering wheel of that jeep.
The turret on the top of the half track looks like it might have been used with a quad .50cal on the top! Now that would be sweet! Were the vehicles part of a museum display, or are they there just rotting away?
It is its an m16 quad 50 AA
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Looks fanatastic! Totally different to anywhere else I've played generally, let alone in a WWII themed game. Thanks for posting the pic's guys.
Is it possible to check the vehicles out? I'm quite impressed they've got an M16 half-track..... Even if it looks in need of some restoration.
Cheers.
John.
We'll have to see... I do hope so... it'd be great for people to get some pics up there... there's a lot more than we show in those pics.
great pictures, really looking forward to Wotan
As an aside, those players doing Brit for Wotan (or US & Axis guys thinking about putting together a Brit impression) must get themselves to Sabre (in Southsea, very close to the site) the day before Wotan. 37 pattern webbing as far as you can see (almost), some racked, some piled in mini-mountains. In the clothing section you need to scale hills of the stuff to get to the back.
Having finally prised Yith out of the shop we were astonished at how cheap it was. Little stock is priced but the cost seems to be calculated per armful - just wait til you see what Yith bought for

Just rotting away. Crying shame really
