Hi one and all

Just thought I'd post a big thank you and thumbs up to the organisers of the Wotan game - had a great day. Notwithstanding the fact I very nearly missed the game by getting myself lost en route, it was good to put some faces to names, and the game itself was great fun - completely different from the woodland experience at my local site - everyone looked fantastic and the whole experience was very immersive.

Thanks again to Old 'un for the lend of the battery at the start - I felt like a right plonker, Rodney - one or two better batteries and a decent charger are now on the shopping list.

See you all again soon - :D

Absolutely - not offended at all. I've adopted him as my airsofting/reenacting alter ego - so feel free to call me Richard, 'Dick' or whatever you like -

As for playing in hobnails - well I don't have any rubber soled boots apart from my modern German army ones which, in retrospect, would have been fine, but not really period, and I can be a bit anal about that sort o' thing - but I'm not a stitch nazi, so - :rasp: :rasp: :rasp: before anyone else does -
