As we realise not everybody can always portray the required look form the kit they have this thread is for requests to loan kit or offers for loans.

Need an ss jacket, ask here... have a spare garand belt you can lend to a brit player.. say so here.

To start the ball rolling i have a peadot smock in a m/l i can loan to any heer players and also a medium size ss oberschutze tunic.

I also have a pair of 34 inch waist modern army dress no2 trousers that can be used as US mustards.

Since I'm going FJ for this one, I have a spare Dot44 tunic, fits 42" chest, possibly larger.

Hi All,
I'm one of those poor unfortunates who want to take part in St Lo but have neither US nor German loadouts.

I'd quite like to try my hand at being a (minimalist) German for this one.

What I can bring to the party:
Some passable trousers and ankle length boots, and the loan of Yith's MP40
What I'd like to borrow:
A Smock (I confess to liking the look of the reversible SS ones), matching headgear and belt plus MP40 mag pouches
Oh - and some Gaiters

I'm tall with long arms & wide shoulders, so XL/XXL sized Smock would suit me best.

Can anybody help me out?
I'd be hugely grateful

Thanks in advance

I have similar German stuff to all the above posts, including the following oddities:

A dot44 tunic for someone very thin (34-36inch chest).

A leather belt for someone not so very thin (38plus waist).

A brown/green reversible OakB zeltbahn.

M1 yank helmet and infantry liner - set to 59cm but easily adjustable to whatever size your noggin is.

The helmet reminds me.

Lipton has an M42(?) Airborne uniform -Jacket + Trousers, and jump-boots that he will have no problem lending out. Pretty smallish, as he is pretty small.

He'll eventually get his arse in gear and tell you the sizes.

HI steiner,

FANTASTIC: I'll accept your kind offer of all of the above!.
Now - if I could also borrow BedsnHerts OAKB smock I think I'd be totally sorted.

Looking forward to trying my hand on the AXIS team.

No probs, Ed. I also have a plane tree Zeltbahn, which will add to the look. Do you need a Feldgrau tunic for under the smock?

It's a zeltbahn (fabric tent quarter) rather than a smock, but it can also be used as a rain cape and as camo. You'd need a tunic underneath it though, which might defeat the object if your looking to avoid wearing wool or swastikas or SS runes.

I'll bring it along anyway.

Note: the one in this pic is splinter rather than Oak B-- attachment is not available --

jacket's a 42 long and the trousers are 32, so not that small. but I'm happy to lend them to people. I also have a mussette bag, suspenders and a coouple of other bits and bobs.
Oh and the boots are size 9

Hi Steiner,
Actually Zeltbahn and tunic would complete the set wouldn't it.
And I'd feel happier borrowing the whole lot from a single source.
If that's OK with you.

Thanks again for letting me borrow all this gear.

(and thanks for the offer of a Zeltbahn from BedsnHerts too)

I really appreciate this group's generosity of spirit.

OK mate, no problem. I have worn a Zelt as a camo smock before, but it can feel a little cumbersome. I was thinking in terms of having the Zelt rolled up and on your belt. My advice would be to borrow a smock as well - and don't worry if the patterns don't match - any SS camo will do.

I've decided to go FJ so my SS kit is available to borrow. This includes:

M35 helmet (size 58) & blurred edge cover
M40 tunic (42)
M40 trousers (36)
Blurred edge smock
SS belt buckle, belt + Y-straps
Gaiters
MP40 or K98 (will hold Tanaka/vsr mags) pouches
