Its the inaugural UK Pacific game! What's not to get excited about! :happydance:

Easily up to an 8 already, kit is all packed and sorted, batteries charged, just need my grub for the day and to sort out some ammo.

Really looking forward to this one. Only possible downside is the weather forecast: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2636486 looks like its going to be a little chilly to be wearing tropicals!

happier now though the hiki order came and think we should be all ok kit wise :slap:

I've being feeling steadily excited for the last couple of months, but last night I spent a few hours sorting my kit and gear while watching the Pacific and nothing I'm frothing at the mouth for this event!!!!!! I truly can't wait! Not even the 2hr car journey and the threat of rain can crush my spritis :happyclap:

Yes, looking forward to this one. Gear all sorted, just need to charge some batteries and make my sandwiches.

Looking at the weather forecast, I think I'll be wearing my thermals under the tropicals and bringing a shelter half to keep the rain off :good:

Main worry is those damn puttees falling down all the time.

Cheers

Looks like I might have to wear a t shirt underneath this tropical stuff and might have to give the tabi shoes a miss as it's looking like the ground will be a bit wet.

My excitement meter is ready to explode right now. Stuck at work and wishing I could go home and sort my kit out. My type 100 may not be ready in time now so it looks like I'll be using the mosin.

Staying in a local Premier Inn so will have to get my stuff sorted tonight as I'm working late tomorrow.

Regards,

Ralph

LOL. I see that snow and sleet are forecast first thing. So what does Japanese winter camo look like?

I'll bring my British Rain Cape so I shouldn't be too wet but we'll just have to pretend its a freak tropical storm.

Going to bring my Mosin and a captured Thompson as back up.

I am very excite! :happyswing:

Spent last night working out how many layers I can fit under my USMC fatigues...I bought big so a fair few is the answer!

Hopefully, once we're all moving around we won't notice it.

All ready now so i'm at a steady 9 and counting!

Just had a run around the garden with my tabi shoes. They're... A bit more waterproof than I thought and I'm sure I can make them work tomorrow. Maybe I'll bring my DMS boots too just in case.

Regards,

Ralph
