As there was no thread for arranging car shares etc, I thought I would start one.
Although I can probably manage to get to this one by a combination of Train and Bicycle, this would limit my home comforts a little. I am sure that for a change, a few people will be passing through Bristol. Does anyone fancy stopping off to pick me up? I finish work at 6pm on the Friday and will probably have everything with me at work. I can chip in for Petrol.
It now seems that there will be Engineering works on the Sunday so I cannot take a Bicycle on the rail replacement bus

Is there any chance of a pickup from Bristol? I am supposed to be working until 6pm but can attempt to get someone to cover the last hour or 2. Alternatively if you can just pick up some of my gear, it will make travelling by train less of a nightmare 
Hi Russe, i am tryingvto be at the site around 13 -14:00 to set up some things. Can i pick you up at a train station near the place, if that helps.
That would be great, going by train, I would get to Bridgend around 8pm give or take 10 mins each way (2 possible trains arrive 20 mins apart).
