Dark green is good for late war but khaki you'd probably get better mileage out of khaki as you can wear it for early war, Africa and Italy games of you wanted to get into that eventually.

I am considering coming to the game as British para. Dont have any gear at all at present but could make it an early Christmas present.
Gun will be a problem as I have only German guns. Maybe I can bring MG42 as captured gun.You can use my STEN buddy; I’ll have a rifle.
Matty, I would lilke to take you on it. Thanks for offering. L
Of course Lutz; no worries
Ok; I've now booked on for this as discussed on Saturday! Hope the Bren is operational Ralph! Think we'll need it!
I'm planning on booking on to this as para as soon as I know I can definitely go, as I don't want to have to pull out at the last minute again . We should have enough for our own squad

I've signed up as a para too. Should be OK for this but it is slightly dependant on family Xmas visiting arrangements.

Thanks Ralph.
I looked at various websites and it looks like the webbing comes in different colours.
Which one is better rather brown or green?
Lutz
37 webbing came in a tan colour and units blancoed it a green or in some cases black. I use the standard tan colour to be honest. Basics include the second pattern ammo pouches (longer to take stem mags) belt cross straps and water bottle. Small pack is handy for carrying personal kit but not essential.
Check eBay for 37 pattern webbing
Thanks for the advice. Gear all bought and ready to go.
I've been testing the Bren today and it's working fine for Saturday. Looking forward to using it at a proper ww2 game.

Ralph
