Indeed not. Although I have Tulagi to do first.

I'll have start sorting all the camping gear out at some point, and repair my ammo boots.

Cheers

I might take you up on that offer if no one else does. I've got 3 spare mags for it too which I'll bring. If you want to bring it anyway and no one else comes forward iI'll man it as I'm sure we'll need the firepower.

Ralph

It was poorly but now it's not. It's just that some parts are being converted into a Bren gun so it's not useable at the mo.

Ralph

I'll ditch the jacket and just wear the Denison.

We taking No.4's?

Yes, if it is warm I'll just wear a Denison over my shirt. I'll wear my BD Friday evening but I'm not going to bother badging up, already got my glider patch on and my South Staffs beret.

I'm taking my No. 4, rubber bayonet and whistle, all you really need to stick it to the Hun.

Cheers
Martin

I thought about badging up the blouse for Friday as Matty and me are tenting now.
No4 and spike for me Sten just in case though.

Yes, I'll take the Sten as a spare too, but I used it at the last para game so fancied a change. If I'm using the No. 4, I might take a slightly more effective pistol than my 1911 springer to face off against the wall-wall MG42s and MP40s though :)

Hmm. I do have a slightly different uniform I could bring to a Friday night social (one I've just spent three hours sewing the ribbons on for) as it looks like I'm not going to make it to the re-enactment event I did it for.

Cheers

I'll pack the Sten then just in case. Could get a bit bloody if we're all on Bolt Actions against a wall of SMG's!

I'll bring your Thompson mags, Jay!

I thought you'd have had them on Ebay by now.

We're going to have a good support weapon section at least, plenty mortars, the odd Bren and a 'zooka or two.
