@willg, there’s no problem in making a mount for a scope, I’m already building a L42a1 ( enforcer) so will be doing one for that. The plan would be is to make it from maybe modern mounts but disguised to look like an original one, obviously removable so the rifle could be used as a stock rifle.
@enfieldenthusiast, I’ve just recently retired from work, so now have more time to do these builds, so if you’re still wanting one, I’ll be getting to take orders soon.

Here’s a pic of the ongoing Enfields builds, 8 butt stock plates, made and fitted,
Three more Enfields, freshly fitted with receivers, the other four are MAS36 on a rush order.
Just an update, made the cyl/bolt extensions for all of the remaining Enfield builds, hopefully will be finishing these off in pairs in the next few weeks,

Coming to the end of the Enfield no.4 run, a long way behind in production times, thanks to Covid and real life getting in the way, when finished I will have made 25 of these conversions, now time to do some other builds.
I’ve actually made 26 of these, and the run comes to an end this week. Most were asked for on listing, but a few have dropped out because I took too long in production, which is understandable, what with Covid, people and relatives dying off around me, appendicitis scare, arthritis getting worse, it was all a bit of a struggle.
All done now though, any left over I’ll put up for sale.
