Re: PArtisan/Resistance look

Correct, on our SA WWII forum I put it forward as an Urban based, ex-middle class type person. Maybe the misplaced ex-mayor.....I'm also to "well built" to be a rural underfed farmer etc.... It was my impression that in occupied Europe the rural population was generally better fed than th...

Re: AGM Mp40 - sten mag compatibility

The SRC MP40 mags (for http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/src-mp40-ful ... n-3-1.html) are not compatible with the AGM ones, but I think they are only available as high cap anyway.

Re: What does limited ammo mean?

I have found 200 too much if you want the 'tension of being low on ammo', the need for re-supply and re-enforcements - so it is going to be 100 or so. I once did a "scene" divided WW2 scenario day (in Denmark), where we achieved the "Oh, shit i'm running low" experience by not l...

Have you had it out for any winter action? How does the CO2 system behave then?

Re: Murder of a Thompson

They may be the M4 of our world, but there's certain things you just don't do to a Thompson, I mean why Thompsons, it seems to now be a trend to violate these beautiful machines of simulated warfare. Atleast it was an M1A1, I'm telling you the day I see an M1928 violated in this inhuman manner, I d...

Re: my dad and I ,we did a mg42

Another option could be to use vietnam-style M16 mags that are shorter and attach an ammo belt to one side of the rifle. The mag type I think of is http://www.combatsportsupply.com/echo1m ... round.aspx

Re: G&G M1 Garand anyone?

My guess would be that expect it to be a bit cheaper and more widely available than S&S Garands. And better looking and extremely more easily available than most home made custom jobs.

Even if the magazines doesn't fit into the cartridge belt or the bandolier it's still a huge leap forward.

That and the crappy repro yellow gloves.

They are, respectively, very nice for taking a dump in the forest and cold winter games.

Re: On the way to making an SAS loadout

1n 1990 I was at the "PARA 50" event at Rushmoor Arena, and chatting to a WW2 lad who'd asked me how many jumps I'd done - about twenty at the time. I asked him how many he'd done "Six" "Is that all?" He said "Yes, North Africa, Normandy, Arnhem..."

There is a challenge in finding somewhere to hide the battery. It might be possible to squeeze a lipo battery into the handguard.
