Re: A Grand Day Out!

I have now posted a brief report on my blog (http://megablitzandmore.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/eagles-over-rhine.html) which features some of the photos seen on this thread. As the blog gets around 300 hits per day, it's quite a good way of bringing WW2 Airsoft to a wider audience. Thanks again for the...

Re: Deutsche 26 Volksgrenadier Division

As a grizzled veteran of the Ostfront, (albeit in a Luftwaffe Field Division....) I'd quite like to give my 'souvenir' PPSH a day out. It'll make a nice change from the boring old MP40.

Re: A Grand Day Out!

I think I used about 50 rounds! The rifles-only policy worked really well, and interesting side effect being that it was damn difficult to figure out where the 'firefights' were. While I remember, if anyone who posts photos ISN'T happy for me to pinch them to,use on my blog could they please make th...

A Grand Day Out!

Or should that be a Garand day? An excellent venue - with the added benefit of only being an hour door to door for me. Very high standards of play - as we've come to expect And of course, everyone nicely turned out. Thanks to all who organised and attended, and particularly to fellow Luftwaffers Mar...

Re: How was it for you?

Excellent day. Thanks again to all who organised and played. I thought the site (once we found it!) was very suitable - and as a bonus is only an hour's drive for me. I thought everyone was very well turned out and the standard of play was as high as expected. I was part of the German MG section - a...

I have now posted some of the photos we've already seen (and a few others) over three posts on my blog at http://megablitzandmore.blogspot.com/

'Claude' is proving very popular - I think we need more photos of him!

Re: Photos and reports

Great diagram! I was the extreme right wing (geographically, not politically) of the German line and had a very quiet time for the first hour or so. When my section was recalled to defend the HQ we ran straight into the US attack and were quickly overrun. Bugger. On the plus side, this was swiftly f...
