Re: Questions about the event

None of the WW2 rifles games I've played have used pyros, apart from one, and as it was CQB in a high fire risk building we had to use simulated molotov cocktails (glow sticks in drinks bottles).

But hey, it is Jimbos game, so what do I know.

Re: Modifying a Large Pack for the Far East

I've done a fair bit of P37 webbing sewing and haven't found it too hard as the weave is quite coarse. A thimble can help a lot.

Original large packs are dirt cheap, but you might be better off with repro pouches.

Re: Uniform and Weapon Requirments

If you are wearing a rolled rain cape or ground sheet over your left shoulder, no-one can see it anyway! Which with our lovely summer weather may not be a bad shout. I did see that they had collar tabs at Hiki? I use any excuse to get my plash out, the most waterproof cotton rain cape I've ever own...

None of my bolties do more than 330, but they are all springers so easy to change the springs.

Re: Uniform and Weapon Requirments

I think if it is just the shirt, it is above the left breast pocket. I got one of the button insignia from hiki which buttons onto either the shirt or jacket pocket.

It looked like a glorious event, and I was glad to have made it to the second one a few years ago.

Re: Uniform and Weapon Requirments

Yes, get a Type 98 jacket, they are rather smart.

For a shirt I just wear my aertex KD shirt, which looks pretty Japanese, but any old khaki shirt would do.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I seem to have done a fair bit of shopping in recent weeks, so let me see: Luftwaffe Field Div collar tabs, Herman Goering Div collar tabs and cuff title. Richard Underwood Luftwaffe gaiters in dark blue grey (lovely bits of kit). A Japanese M98 summer uniform and insignia which will do nicely for W...

Re: Japanese kit
