Re: Uniform and Weapon Requirments

Yes, get a Type 98 jacket, they are rather smart.

For a shirt I just wear my aertex KD shirt, which looks pretty Japanese, but any old khaki shirt would do.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I seem to have done a fair bit of shopping in recent weeks, so let me see: Luftwaffe Field Div collar tabs, Herman Goering Div collar tabs and cuff title. Richard Underwood Luftwaffe gaiters in dark blue grey (lovely bits of kit). A Japanese M98 summer uniform and insignia which will do nicely for W...

Re: Japanese kit

Whats yer vital dimensions Martin?? You look to be similar build to me (ohh err...) 6'2", 34" waist. As Chris says, the only real issue are are the bottom of the breeches, which are a bit tight around the calves. I run a fair bit so I do have muscled calves, but I'm no Chris Hoy. My Russi...

Re: booking Info

I'll be modelling myself on gunner La-de-da Graham from It ain't half hot mum. So KD all the way.

My grandfather wore KD so if it was good enough for him, it is good enough for me.

Re: Thanks!

It was a good weekend, better than I was expecting in fact. It was great to catch up with Wladeck and Co, and nice to break out the old Luftwaffe Field Div gear again. It was great playing on the site with a bit less undergrowth. It could have been a bit warmer on Friday night(!) and it was quite fu...

Re: Bookings

will do, but as it's not a gunman game it's coming under my responsibility, and if I not there then I won't risk it, unless anyone close to me can be there to keep an eye on things, I also need to clarify a few things with Josh first hence how it stands at the moment, but when i know will post :) t...

Re: Japanese kit

Id like to try the jacket, hiki stuff is often a bit small. If you are putting an order in I'd like some rank badges ( I'll PM when I'm home later).

Re: Polish Paras

As with all these things, it depends how fussy you are.

This is airsoft, not reenactment, so a pair of baggy brown or green trousers? If you've got a smock, hat and webbing no-one is going to pay much attention to your trousers at an ops weekend.

Re: Bookings

Could you let us know about Friday night camping asap. I'd assumed (always a mistake, I know) that we could camp at Eversley as usual the night before. It is too far for me to come down and go back in a day, but I can book a Travel Lodge or whatever if need be.

Thanks
Martin
