Re: 37 pattern denims

As far as I know, no, 37 pattern denims had exposed buttons. SOF have started making really nice repro recently from actual denim rather than twill.

Re: RWA Lee enfield

Changing the spring would up the power, though effective enough range and accuracy can be had from a decent hop up and tightbore barrel.

A sub-350 rifle also means that you can use it without having to worry about a minimum engagement distance.

Re: Kit lending

Bit of a long shot, but would anyone happen to have any S&T Springfield mags I'd be able to borrow? I can't find them anywhere where they'd arrive in time unfortunately, and I only have the one. It'd be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Dejan.

Re: Jamaica infantry volunteers

After years of not being able to find much info, I recently found out that my own great grandfather was in the Jamaica Infantry Volunteers during the war! He fought in France in 1944 and thats as much as I know.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Looks lovely, wood doesn't look bad either. Is the magazine the same size as a vsr one or smaller. Looking at it, it looks like it might be a bit smaller.

Re: 37 Pattern Field Backpack

Ummmm.... Nonce? You realise that means paedophile right? Do you mean dunce by any chance? :giggle: That aside, if you're referring to the 37 pattern small pack then it's a case of adjusting the straps to a length that suits and kind of just muddling about with it until you manage to get it to sit i...

Re: Thank you!

To echo comments above, absolutely amazing event. The site fit the scenario so well, the atmosphere was perfect and the set dressing and sound effects really topped it all off. Top play from everyone, I don't think I heard a single complaint about hit taking all day, which was impressive especially ...

Re: Torches

Yeah I went to buy one of those yesterday then saw the price!

Out of curiosity what's you guys opinion on those plain black cheapo maglite style torches you get everywhere. Are they too modern or would they suffice?

Cheers,
Dejan.
