Re: S&S no.4 Lee Enfield rebuild

That receiver looks wildly different from mine. Mine is made from brass(?) and can't keep any paint on it. Is it just the difference in when it was bought? I assume Elpus' is older than mine.

Re: King Arms Thompson

Update: with the shapeways part works like a charm. A little different than what was pictured here, works just as well.

Re: King Arms Thompson

Dadio: Tried multiple times to glue it, seems to be enough force to break the epoxy. I could go only full auto, but some WW2 games require you to fire only semi, so that would be a bit limiting. Tried getting in touch with KA themselves, they replied and said they'll check their stores if they any s...

Cheers. That’s what it is. Problem was it only shot semi-auto.

Re: King Arms Thompson

Found the culprit. This part seems to be broken. Anyone got a name for this or a pic how it's supposed to look like?

Wanted: Windproof suit / smock

Hi,

Looking for a windproof smock / whole suit, camoflaged. Repros are fine.

Send me a PM if you've got one and willing to part with it.

King Arms Thompson

Hi,

Found a M1928 one for sale for 100€, supposedly they’re good? This one has the full auto not working, never heard of auto missing, it’s usually the semi.

Mods, didn’t find any threads that are not a million years old, sorry.

Looks like a totally-legit photo. Like the part where the hand phases through the stock. :giggle:

Re: Quartermasters Stores - Your kit queries here.

Got a KD shirt from WPG, but no washing instructions. I don't usually wash my kit that much, but I think it has some factory stuff on it, and I have sensitive skin. Heard it can also help with the "new" look, along with letting it sit in the sun. Can someone enlighten a dummy how to wash it?

Sten MK V wood parts

Can anyone tell me what sort of wood the Sten MK V furniture is made out of? And to add to this how it was originally finished, oiled, varnished?

Re: Cold weather affect

Airsoft guns are designed in places where it's not that cold, so they don't really work as planned in the cold. Hop up is as stated the first to start acting up, batteries on AEGs are the second one to look out for. Note that it's not just the cold, if it's a bit damp and add colder weather to that,...
