I'll drop the price on the entire set to 280 quid, but not below that. I'd rather keep it than sell it cheaper :)

It's the Varmint rifle. This one:

Apparently it is partially compatible with VSR, but I've not tried any upgrades myself.

Lee Enfield No. 4, butt plate, sling, valise, mags, oil btle

I'm leaving country and have to cut down on my airsoft toys, and also I seem to be rubbish with springers :) For sale is the Shoot and Scoot Lee Enfield No. 4 rifle. It has been freshly serviced by Warren so you are getting it as if it was just purchased. I have fired it only to chrono it. This is i...

Re: Airsoft flame throwers

A flamethrower we built for a larp was made around a hand-pump fire extinguisher. It "fired" water, which is easier, more realistic and much less messy than a cloud of BBs (not to mention that for a proper flamethrower effect you would need to expend 10 quid worth of BBs a second).

Re: Would you be happy with WW2 players using Polarstar guns

If the game has ammo limit an insane ROF is a problem, not an advantage. Being able to expend your entire ammo unit in 3s is not very appealing.

Re: Tanaka Kar98k wobbly metal piece

And another case of wobble, this time from the scope mounting plate. I don't see any tightening screw anywhere there. Is there some in built way of fastening the scope plate or should I just superglue the hell out of it?

Re: Tanaka Kar98k Questions

I tried it at room temp (well, in my room). It is likely to get warmer soon and the fps will be even higher. The first shot is 540fps, the last is 520fps. Even if it fell below 500 on the second shot I would still be reluctant to shoot such a hot weapon at people. Can you explain about the hammer sp...

Re: Tanaka Kar98k Questions

A bit of thread necromancy here. I have the pre-ban Kar98k. It was shooting stupid fps on green gas. I bought 144a with hope of running that, but with 144a it shoots fairly consistent 520fps, still too hot. The restrictors seem to be out of stock everywhere. Has anyone tried using HFC134a with Tanak...
