H4H Donation

I have now donated the £285 to Help For Heroes and with Gift Aid it's worth over £356. Outstanding guys a big pat on all our collective backs. Keep it up.

Re: Thanks

Onto the money! I have a couple of payments to chase up from people who forgot the money on the day but it looks like we raised £250 for Help for Heroes. We would have had more but I did supply the Allies with a box of pyro to drag around with them and nearly all was used. I think that was well re...

Re: Thanks

Thanks to Greg for taking the time to organise a fun event. Nice bloke and a good crew. Had fun, but I'm a f*cking wreck and pain killers can only get you so far. Morning was great, but by afternoon the combination of heat and not being able to move my arm properly had taken its toll. To be fair I ...

Re: Thanks

Thanks for all the positive feedback and we're really glad you all enjoyed yourself. A lot of effort went into the event by myself, rabbitspacker and jakethegentleman so it is great to know it was worth the effort. Also thanks to Doc for his gruesome WW2 medical memorabilia display! Also thanks to A...

I did ask on the scenario thread if there was any interest in camping over Sat night and no one replied. Is it because you have a long way to go home? If so you can come down the pub with us ...

Re: Booking Thread

Really sorry guys, but I'm going to have to bug out of this one (first time ever). We had 30 percent redundancies in our company a couple of months ago, and we've finally got a big job on and it's not going to be finished by Monday unless we work over the weekend. Bummer! I'm hoping to make Mervill...

Re: Excitometer readings

Soak the carrier enough for it to be damp. Put the water bottle in. Then get bits of cardboard and push them in between the carrier and bottle to stretch it and leave to dry. This should make the carrier wider at the top than the bottle so it's easier to get the bottle in and out. You won't be able...

Re: Excitometer readings

Can't quite figure out the Brit water bottle though! What is the problem? If you put a post in the British kit section I am sure we can help. The skeleton carriers can be quite hard to do up when they are new though, soaking the webbing helps. Cheers Martin The water bottle has an almost felt like ...

Re: Booking Thread

Total:45 Allies:25 Axis:20 with the possibility of a couple of Allies dropping out. Pretty balanced but a couple of extra Jerries would be good. :good:
