Re: Venting CO2 Carbine Mags

Yeah, I've got an ASG-branded Marushin M1 Carbine, and it does the same as this on anything other than a warm day. On a warm day, it shoots fine, so long as you're not too trigger-happy: if you are, I find it quickly gets to that point where the action doesn't fully cycle and then it vents all the r...

Re: Opinions on ammo amounts.

Ammo limits are indeed one of those things that when you've tried them, you realise they make a (mostly positive) difference to immersion in a game. Normally, they are "per life" rather than all day, so if you run our of ammo, you just go back to your team's HQ and reload, as if you had be...

Battle of the Bulge would suit the site quite well actually, would make a good winter game.

Re: Thanks

Well I had a cracking time, particularly enjoyed the fight around the village, the two-storey fort, and a little scrap a fragment of our 82nd team got into with some of the FJ boys in the woods, clearing all those bunkers - always trying to get around each-others' flanks, was great fun to see some n...

Re: Excitometer readings

Well, mostly packed now ready for a long haul tomorrow. We're going to a family do in Torbay tomorrow evening, staying with a friend in Gloucestershire tomorrow night, then coming over Saturday morning! Just need to get some food sorted any we're good to go. Boots have had a much-needed polish and d...

Re: Excitometer readings

Somewhere around 6 or 7 at the moment, though the general trend is for the reading to increase on a daily basis. Definitely looking forward to this!

Re: Fire Power

That FlaK is cool, looks great in-game too! Oh well chaps, looks like we'll just have to do what we did last time, i.e. capture it and turn it on its former team-mates. ;)

Re: Weapons/kit lending

There'll be a few of us coming up from Cornwall again who could do with borrowing some weapons (we will eventually get our own, promise!). Pete has kindly agreed to lend me his Garand again, and an M3 Greasegun for one of the girls. Does anyone have a spare Thompson/MP-40/Sten that we could borrow f...

Two more of us for 82nd Airborne, and one more for one of the British squads. Had a good time at San Marino last month, so looking forward to this one too! :)

Re: Booking Thread

I'd love to come along to this one - it's a way away (everyhwere is, then you live in west Cornwall) but I don't mind travelling for it, the problem is that it starts on the Friday and I'll be working that day. If only it were 24 hours later, it wouldn't be an issue! I'll have a word with the boss a...

Re: How was it for you and pictures

Well, I most certainly had a good time! I was having a great time before we even started shooting each-other, it was just brilliant to see everyone in their WW2 kit and everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful to us (the contingent from Cornwall) on our first airsoft game - let alone our first ...

Re: So who is Camping

Planning to leave Cornwall around 2pm or so (earlier if we can), so I'd have thought around 7.30-8.00pm if the traffic isn't too bad.
