SMLE?

Hi guys its the crazy Japanese re-enactor again... I was away for a few weeks in Nepal and managed to get caught up in the very unfortunate Earthquakes in the region. This was just days after I got my hands on a Martini Henry as well. I've been thinking of doing a World War 1 and 2 British Indian lo...

Some Japanese phrases

Some commands and phrases specific to Japanese IJA which might be useful in a skirmish. Notice most of these phrases are short and suitable for making a more authentic feel to small squad based skirmishes. I have Romanised the Japanese words to their equivalent in English and also added a guideline ...

G&G K98/980

Hi my friend is trying to sell me a G&G k98 He lives quite a way away and before I make the trip down I just want to know if the rifle is any good? Does anyone here own one and what do they have top say on it. Online search results seem to show it is a very powerful and solid built CO2 powered r...

Re: Would you be interested in...

Ah cool keep us posted on that. You know I'd be more than happy to take part if possible. Someone was talking about a game in France as well which was also something I might go for. Yeh realistically if I get a game rolling this year it will be a miracle :D However there is definitely something plan...

Gomen Nassai Hi friends hope you are all well. I am sort of new to the World War 2 airsoft scene in the UK but have a strong passion for the genre. I am of mixed Asian background and spent a lot of time in Japan my spiritual homeland. This has led me to an almost fanatical obsession with the forces ...

Another interesting scenario...

Don't want to bore you all with another historical essay, I have an awful habit of ranting on sometimes... However for Asian's especially World War 2 is often not given the scope it should get, a in particular case in mind is the events that occurred two years before the Western nations declared the...

Re: Some common misconceptions...

Thank you BootedFeet

Stormforce site also seems to tick a lot of boxes and it's closer to me but it all depends on what others think as well and any other similar sites others may know and would prefer just let us know. I will do my best to try and organise a game in the UK at some point... :D

Re: Some common misconceptions...

Oooh... Just checked that out... they Eversley site does seem to have the right "look" about it. I know it's a little further out for me but I definitely get there if I had to for a game. I will probably contact them and get some more details maybe in the future. Thanks for this Luiluei do...

Re: Some common misconceptions...

Don't just make do with a site though, pick a site that fits the game and the feel of the event your going for and then players will travel as they have done for years to attend, and those that won't well...won't Obviously I wasn't thinking of a game anytime soon, late summer being the soonest real...

Re: Some common misconceptions...

Australia raised the 9th Division of the AIF for the defence against the Japanese (6th, 7th and 8th were in the middle east and N Africa). ABDACOM's strategy of placing forces all over the region, rather than concentrating forces however meant that almost the whole division was lost. 6th, 7th and 9...
