Re: 1928 Thompson cocking bolt

Did a bit more today, slotted top of g/box case and same to piston, it looks like this will work, but I’m thinking the thin slide plate won’t stand up to the job for long. I don’t want to take off anymore from the top of the g/box, so as to fit a thicker plate. So I’ll be looking to machine down thi...

Re: Magazines for a marushin m1 carbine

Apparently, the King arms mags are the same as the Marushin mags, but I found this info online and have no real first hand proof that this is so.

Pic’s didn’t come out in order(when do they ever!) but middle pic shows spring just tucked up inside.

Re: 1928 Thompson cocking bolt

Just a quick update, on this, used original “side slide” plate, bit of a chop down and repositioned the spring all fits together ( with a few Anglo Saxon expletives) is quite short on pull but I want to make it work with the gearbox later, so didn’t want to cut too much from the plate, but for the w...

Re: King Arms Thompson

To get a new part, if it’s not possible to make one or repair your one, look on “abz airsoft repair” in the USA.
I have bought from there before, not cheap but normally get good results.

Re: Recruitment for German heavy equipment crews

I will be up for this, I can’t run around too much anyway ( arthritic knee) and have a ready and waiting mg42 to use or as spare.

Re: AGM STG44 gearbox replacement

I would go along with that, Cyma do make a good tough gearbox, but it probably won't be quick release Spring type, jing gong (jg) also make a strong gearbox too. Have just found on one of the Polish sites, Taiwan gun, or gunfire can't remember which, but they are selling cutoff levers and trigger pa...

Re: Cyma Thompson Body

Headshot was selling barrel fix kits, but now has discontinued this, not hard to make, and I will be making some of the same thing when the weather gets a bit better. However if your selling your one off to raise money for a king arms model let me me know, I already have 3 thompsons, could always ma...

Re: AGM STG44 gearbox replacement

I’ve been on eBay myself today, searching for some parts, so just as a quick run through on what you would probably want to revive your gearbox, would be, new spring, can be bought for as little as £5.99 made by SHS, good quality, new piston all metal teeth for £6.99, alloy cyl head, £8.50, alloy no...

Re: AGM STG44 gearbox replacement

Hi Seb, You could rebuild your original box for a little cheaper than the nuprol box you mention, and wire in a simple mosfet, such as a Gates nano hard. This would protect your trigger switch from ever burning out again, plus it has braking facility which is better for your internals in the gearbox...

Re: Webley fps downgrade

I have one these pistols and quite like the fact that it knocks out nearly 400fps, so I leave mine as it is. There is “power down” shells available, that are made for a different pistol but do fit in the Wembley/ Enfield pistol. I will find out which ones they are, I have been told which ones..........
