Re: Nice little universal magazine

Make that 14 out of the mag, 4 in the tube, from a full mag. Already had some up the tube first time!

Re: Nice little universal magazine

These mags of course could be sleeved to look like a completely different mag altogether, I’m attempting to make an M1 carbine based on the M 14 platform, so will probably use these mags to look something like the straight 15 round mag that they use.

Re: Nice little universal magazine

I agree, almost perfect for a G43 conversion, I’ve now done one to fit right, I was supposed to be cutting wood for winter fires, but the weather has put paid to that,.....plus I’d rather Pratt around with my pop guns anyway! Using some 3mm thick plastic card (bought from eBay, of course) stuck on a...

Nice little universal magazine

Recently ordered some more parts from Taiwangun. Just to make up the order, I ordered some little mags that fit a double eagle shotgun M401, (the gun itself is amazingly cheap!) at a cost of £1.42 each these are a bit larger in depth than the “mossberg” type I bought and used previously, they take 1...

Re: V2 gearbox rebuild, then......

I haven’t had many of my own break, just two, but have replaced a fair few on customers guns, mainly various makes of M4. The cases break in various places around the front end. Now that most guns run at about 350fps not so many breakages, not had any specna or JG cases to replace ....yet. There is ...

Re: V2 gearbox rebuild, then......

That would be a JG G3 lower receiver, and I do have a spare ........somewhere, I might not be using this lever anyway as I think the project gun has it fitted on the other side. So if I can sort a change round I will.

Re: Another cheap backup weapon!

First application of shoe dye to stock in attempt to tone down brightness and make it bit more “wood” looking.

Re: Another cheap backup weapon!

When the painted “woodwork” is properly dry, I’ll darken it off with some dye to make more like wood.

Another cheap backup weapon!

Recently bought some parts from Taiwangun, Poland. Just to make up a parcel and keep down shipping charges, I stocked up on some parts, searching through their site, came across, what is without doubt an agm mossberg shotgun, they call it something else, now these are a cheapie in the best sense of ...

Re: V2 gearbox rebuild, then......

It will be put into a Johnson 1941 LMG, have collected most parts for it now.......I think, just got to get the side feed sorted properly, it won’t be 100% correct but it will be near enough to look right.

V2 gearbox rebuild, then......

A rather big OOPS!, built up a gear box for a project, so I thought well at least I won’t have any problems with the gearbox when I come to running the gun......all built then thought I’d test it.......lasted approximately three minutes
