Re: M14 to M1 plastic stock conversion.

Re: M14 to M1 plastic stock conversion.

This was done for lightness as I didn’t want to make it solid and add weight, after curing, made shape with some filler. Not too far off the shape I want now, looking like a Garand stock at least.

Re: M14 to M1 plastic stock conversion.

Did a bit more to this conversion, drilled and put in plasterboard screws, then chopped off the heads, to make and underpinning effect. The made a cardboard channel to which I applied some fibreglass.

M14 to M1 plastic stock conversion.

Had a dig out in the shed, came across two plastic M14 stocks, one black, one green, now not much use for anything really so I thought I would try and convert one to make a passable M1 stock as I was going to make a wood replacement....but this might work out quicker. The stocks are from the short v...

Re: sten Parts

I’ve recently tried this, just to see if I could do it, a bit fiddly to say the least, but the dremel tool is the real hero in this operation. Got it right first try, but the tapped bars are not that expensive if it goes wrong, I will put up some pic’s......when I find where I put it!

It seems to have been deleted from their site, I used to just put in “free ads Airsoft” but nothing comes up now.

Re: Wanted

At the moment Taiwan gun, Poland, is selling CYMA cm033, Thompson’s for about £84. Add a bit of shipping, you’ve got yourself a cheap reliable new gun, they even sort the fps for you if you want.

Re: WE P38 Hop Up?

Yes that hex screw at12 0’clock. I was really looking forward to getting this pistol, (P38 was the first real steel auto I ever fired!) hoping it would a least be on par with other Airsoft gas pistols, feels great, looks great, action works great, magazine gas capacity is probably the worst let down...

Re: WE P38 Hop Up?

The hop is adjusted via an “Allen” screw or hex screw as they’re known nowadays, just above the hop unit itself, looks to me about a 1 mm key will do it, I can’t remember ever adjusting this on this pistol but I may have done. It can be adjusted by opening the breech. I’ve not attempted to remove ho...

Re: RWA Lee enfield

While RWA Enfield is a nice looking piece of kit, it’s still not sorted mechanically. The only way to sort this is to get it done is not by the factory, but by after market means. Either doing the upgrades yourself or getting someone to do it. I know that means more money, so personally I would buil...

Hi Gary,
I would hazard a guess and say the nearest place to you is the fireball site, at Bassets Pole, Sutton Coldfield.

Best looking plastic wood

Just bought another M14 for a conversion job, up till now the plastic wood on these cyma m14’s has been ok, and fairly constant. This one has got to be the best plastic wood I’ve seen on a cyma. Have seen some other guns with good plastic wood effect, but this one has put a smile on my face, best ye...
