Re: RWA Lee enfield

While RWA Enfield is a nice looking piece of kit, it’s still not sorted mechanically. The only way to sort this is to get it done is not by the factory, but by after market means. Either doing the upgrades yourself or getting someone to do it. I know that means more money, so personally I would buil...

Re: Airsoft in Staffordshire

Hi Gary,
I would hazard a guess and say the nearest place to you is the fireball site, at Bassets Pole, Sutton Coldfield.

Best looking plastic wood

Just bought another M14 for a conversion job, up till now the plastic wood on these cyma m14’s has been ok, and fairly constant. This one has got to be the best plastic wood I’ve seen on a cyma. Have seen some other guns with good plastic wood effect, but this one has put a smile on my face, best ye...

Re: AGM MP 40 repairs

Here’s a sketch of my first thoughts, to replace the broken piece, but depending on what’s left to screw to, I did mention it may have to go round onto the trigger guard.

Re: AGM MP 40 repairs

You say “thin sheet” that implies to me, tin sheet. You’ll need at least 2mm thick steel plate to get any strength of support to the piece, you may even have to shape it round the trigger guard itself, if there’s not enough “ meat” on the original part. For that part to have broken in the first plac...

Re: AGM MP 40 repairs

That part is basically the gearbox mount, if you remove the side plastics there should be another two screws in there holding the front broken piece. Epoxy glue won’t help you with this, I would suggest a steel plate replacement with a jiggle in it, to fit over, and up to the trigger guard. Then dri...

Re: AGM MP 40 repairs

I use an iPad, I do on occasion have a problem uploading pic’s, but most of the time they load straight up. Somewhere on the forum there is a “ how to “ on the subject, basically go to attachments and follow the instructions.

Re: AGM MP 40 repairs

Hi Wesbro, put up some pictures of the problem, without a doubt there’s someone on here that can either give advice, or fix it for you.

Mauser hsc pistol mags

I bought this little plastic gas pistol at least two decades ago, non worker, used as holster filler for years on a static display. I then fixed the firing problem maybe two years ago, but never used it as I only had one mag for it. Taiwan gun stock the mags! Wasn’t sure if they were the right ones,...

Re: Discussion thread

I would really liked to have attended this, but I’m booked on an SIA course until the Sunday, can’t re- book as this is the last one near me to do this year. So good luck, hope all goes well

Re: Nice little universal magazine

Make that 14 out of the mag, 4 in the tube, from a full mag. Already had some up the tube first time!

Re: Nice little universal magazine

These mags of course could be sleeved to look like a completely different mag altogether, I’m attempting to make an M1 carbine based on the M 14 platform, so will probably use these mags to look something like the straight 15 round mag that they use.

Re: Nice little universal magazine

I agree, almost perfect for a G43 conversion, I’ve now done one to fit right, I was supposed to be cutting wood for winter fires, but the weather has put paid to that,.....plus I’d rather Pratt around with my pop guns anyway! Using some 3mm thick plastic card (bought from eBay, of course) stuck on a...

Nice little universal magazine

Recently ordered some more parts from Taiwangun. Just to make up the order, I ordered some little mags that fit a double eagle shotgun M401, (the gun itself is amazingly cheap!) at a cost of £1.42 each these are a bit larger in depth than the “mossberg” type I bought and used previously, they take 1...
