Re: TM Thompson M1A1 Barrel Fix Kits

Hi - I tried to PM you on this but oddly the message seems to be sitting in my outbox. Do you still do these? I had a critical failure this weekend!

Drum mag for Cyma Thompaon M1A1

Hi,

Does anyone know if any of the drum mags around work with the Cyma Thompaon M1A1 ? Like this one...

As far as I know the Cyma is a Marui clone so I'm assuming it should fit.

Ta.

Re: LARP weapons section

Here's a few I've made over the years. There's a lot more examples here... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Props-Weapons-at-The-Custom-Costume-Company/194967547198549?ref_type=bookmark I do commissions, but I'm also happy to point people in the right direction for supplies as I don't do this full tim...

Re: 1911 Colt 45

I'd vote for WE as well. I've got 2 now and about 6 mags. Only 1 mag has ever had an issue. They are a bit gas hungry, but if you are confident stripping the mags and wrapping the seals in PTFE tape it transforms the performance. I went from getting about 12 shots to consistently getting 30+ shots p...

Re: where to get rubber bayonet's ?

Depends what you want it for. Remember rubber does not equal LARP safe. The cast rubber ones look awesome but wouldn't pass for LARP safe. Warren has started making LARP weapons and I have been for years, so if you want a genuine LARP bayonet either of us can help you. I'm actually making some entre...

Re: HELP - Cyma Thompson motor not meshing with gearbox

For the record, tightening it up fully with a 2mm allen key (not hard tight, just snug) then loosening it 2 full turns back works perfectly.

Re: HELP - Cyma Thompson motor not meshing with gearbox

Success!

That's what I was expecting to find but I was trying to find it with a screwdriver, not an allen key.

HELP - Cyma Thompson motor not meshing with gearbox

Hi, I have a challenge with my Cyma Thompson. The motor seems to have slipped away from the gearbox and isn't meshing with the gears. The housing is all fine and solid. When I pull the trigger the motor whines but doesn't turn the gearbox. When I manually show the motor hard up into the gearbox (the...

Re: Winchester 1912 Trench Gun

An update on the cheap-ass plastic shotgun...it broke in two at the weekend :( We got through two of them on the same day. So on the plus side, I now have a heat shield that I may try and work out how to fit to a slightly better quality shotgun. But I'd advise against going with the cheap springers ...

Re: Winchester 1912 Trench Gun

I'd say get a cheap springer and strip the heatshield off. You can get them for about £20 and the heatshield is metal. They come up even cheaper on forums every so often.
