Re: Bren MK1m, My interpretation

Thanks for your replies.
SCVNGR yes I did make the body.
The flat pieces where sliced from my 3D model and laser cut, then glued and riveted together, other bits are welded.
The round bits were made on a lathe.

New Owen Gun

A long time ago Myself and a friend made this owen Gun [link] http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc102/Lazyboynz/100_1594-1-1.jpg [/link] This used an agm MP40 gearbox and needed to be modified for this to fit. I have wanted a more accurate version and came up with the following [link] http://i215.p...

Re: bren gun project help

When I want plans, I use google sketchup ( a free 3d drawing program ), it has a 3d warehouse with lots of 3D models, including Bren guns.
Just be aware that these models are provided by Sketchup user's and may not be exact scale.

Re: Sten GBB - how hard can it be ?

A friend and I converted a Marushin enforcer to a m1a1 carbine, by using a pnuematic cylinder to make it semi auto. the gas is co2 either mounted in a pouch on the stock or from a back pack. It has to be manually cocked when a new mag is inserted ( else it will dry fire the first shot), it then cock...

Re: Sten GBB - how hard can it be ?

In New Zealand We have strict fps rules, which means gas gun crono fine in the morning and can then be firing hot as the temperature increases. I have thought of replacing the gears and motor of a standared AEG gearbox cylinder with a gas cylinder, or replace the spring with a gas cylinder. My reaso...

Re: Gas SMLE project

Hey thats an awesome gun :good:

I have been working on the same project and was looking at the gas m700, mainly because it keeps the mag in the right place.
Now I am sure it will work.
Later down the track I will pick your brain on how you did it, if thats alright.

Great work

Re: agm mp40 gearbox upgrade

I have made an Owen Gun using AGM MP40 internals.
I modified the hopup to feed from the top, could you not do the same, except feed from the side.

The Owen shoots at 324 fps with no upgrades, apart from stripping and cleaning the gearbox.
