The idea of the weekends battle was fighting to get through the Gothic line. this would have been a massive operation, i know we cannot represent the artillery and bombing in airsoft,but just think about it! if you are a lone wolf close to the enemy then you would be under all the bombing and artile...

the sniper team is a modern thing! a guy with half a camo net round him. what good recon can they do they have no radio! no one to medic them! And in my experiace the lone wolf is much more likely to go all teflon! after spending half an hour getting to a good spot with a long walk back to regen. My...

woke this morning on site to 4-5 inchs of snow, what a different game that would have been. was a bit of a job getting to the gun turret for the final clear up, and pushing and bumping the krad up the big hill to the gates after, this must have been the way to keep warm on the eastern front :giggle:...

I have the four battleground books on the Market garden operation, which are very good and easy to follow.
but by far the best of all the books on the operation i have, are the two volumes of Market Garden, Then and Now
