Re: British Para Helmet

I'd look for an RAC helmet if I were you. They're exactly the same shape and size of helmet, it's just got a different liner and chinstrap.

Re: Price check: King Arms M1A1 (wood stock version)

Found some mags at a decent price (hi-caps though), now I've got to get the battery.

Am I right in thinking that I'm looking for a large type 8.4 3000ma?

Re: Iron Airsoft/Matrix No.1 Mk 3 SMLE Review

The bright red of the stock of my Iron airsoft SMLE finally got to me. I pulled apart and ran an electric finishing sander over the parts. I gave it 5 coats of Walnut stain, 1 coat of raw linseed oil and there after about 12 coats of boiled linseed oil and finishing with steel wool, between each co...

Don't know if it's been posted already, but I just read that WE look to be bringing out a GBB M1A1.

Re: Which Thompson?

Depends on what you're portraying and where. If you really want a Thompson though, an M1928 is best for British impressions (Italy, Far East, Commando etc.).

Re: Help with webbing kit please for KD Officer.

You can pick up a sheath for under a tenner. You'd be nuts to buy a wartime dated machete then cut off the blade, especially since the original manufacturer is still making them to the same design. http://www.knifebargains.co.uk/acatalog/Ralph_Martindale_Bolo_380mm_Polished_Blade_Machete___227-380-0...
