Avoid Totenkopf if you are concerned about getting tagged for nasty stuff. They were formed from concentration camp guards initially and early war all had to serve some time as guards as part of training. But as the man says, research your unit of choice. Thanks but I'm really after a "new" reproduction one that I can use, I already have an original but like my other original water canteen, no matter how much I clean or sterilise them, the water from them still tastes like its from a dank muddy pond :cry: That's how I like my water in game...

About all you can do is trawl ebay or other vendors. I managed to find one, but took a while.

The later war standard issue M43 trousers were cut to a similar style as the Berghosen, but without the smart crease down the front. Go for M43's and you are pretty close regardless.

Towards the end of the war GJ apparently started to get issued standard low boots due to supply shortages. For airsoft I use British army boots with puttees, you can't tell once the mud is on the boot! GJ were also issued 'jack boots'. There are some photos of that in France, 1940. Just doesn't look...

There is no evidence that they were ever issued in North Africa. They were in production in time, but by the looks of it, not issued.
