but with the riggers pouch and 5 mag pouch which was more commonly worn? I think every person was issued at least 5-cell pouch with 5x 20 round magazines. Usually worn on the left kidney. Rigger pouches would have been for things like TNT, Grenades and the likes. Personally I would go for the 5-cel...

No 3 mag pouches in Normandy they only had the short 20 round mags, you want a GP bag, Thompson mag bag, rigger pouch or 5 mag pouch. Surely poacher you mean they didnt have the 3-cell pouches, they definately had the 30 round thompson managazines? But they usually went in the mag bag. http://t3.gs...
