Re: Latest Acquisitions

From the National Vintage Communications Fair last Sunday: Three sets of Head Set, No.8 (with snatchplug connectors), snatchplug extension lead in unissued condition, and spare unit-side snatchplug drop lead, bought for a friend with a WS22 - £20.00 Buzzer telephone coil unit as used in Type F Bri...

Re: Tech help on Custom

Re: Entrenching Tool Carrier Patterns

Excellent, mate. It'll be getting chopped off before long, then. As already said - don't cut it off! Firstly, it's still a valid and valuable item of collectable militaria! Secondly, you can just tuck it inside the carrier for WW2 games to get the look more correct Thirdly, it'll not be a...

Re: Entrenching Tool Carrier Patterns

The extra strap added to stop the helve falling out is a post-war thing, it was introduced in early-mid 1945 - some try to claim "but I've got a [insert war date here] dated one with this extra strap", but these are war-time produced carriers with this post-war modification performed upon ...

Re: AGM MP40 Magazine conversion to hi-cap.

No, due to the ratchet mechanism, it's very bad practice to force BBs back down the feed tube of a high-cap mag. Most high-cap mags have a small...

Fantastic photos - thanks ever-so once again for sharing them with us all.
You were proper stealth - I didn't properly see you 'in game' all day, only saw you taking photos during orders being given at the beginning!
