that's pretty amazing. Also, that is a DOUBLE EAGLE! They are quite potentially the worst manufacturer!

Re: NEW ST PPSH

I have just been informed that the Aries mag well is also made of alloy and painted so this ST is a good clone of the Aries  So the HP is the model to have in my book but the ST is a close second on price. :good: ahhh, u saw my video and commented on it didn't you :good: However, the Alloy s...

Re: ARES PPSh issue

However, ares do have parts on ehobbyasia but I am not a big one for messing around with internals. Me to I may make a gun to fit the box in but don't like taking a box appart if I can help it. Have you contacted the shop that is your first step? I did, I had a right ol' go at them and they still w...

Re: ARES PPSh issue

Do you not have a guarantee on it from the store? Was it not local to you? One of the things people on here complain about is no parts for Aries guns. Thinking about it I smell a rat! You say they sold you it for just over half its normal retail price, well now we know why maybe. I suspect this has...

ARES PPSh issue

I have just picked up an ARES PPSh and within 2 days, the gears went kaput!  I will not say don't buy this gun but I do have concerns as I do not know what gears it takes. It would be most appreciated if somebody could tell me what gears this gun takes! :good:

Re: NEW ST PPSH

Well, nice cheque back from the tax man :happyswing: and finding this out has meant that another parcel is on its way to our shore. :happyswing: Plus i have seen they do there own stick mags but they are copies of the ares ones so i suppose both will be interchangable. Re: Long Barrel Thompson

I think these long barrels are a modification to comply with some US states current gun law rather than a wartime thing. This is my understanding, too. Some US states have laws against short-barrel guns with stocks. AutoOrdnance/Kahr Arms currently make/sell semi-auto only versions with long barrel...

Not to take it too far off of topic, but CA don't make a 1911.

They sure do!

That's because externally (lookwise) they are great but when it comes down to the internals, I's rather go AGM
