Re: Pioneer/Alte Hasen Zug

44" chest, 36" waist. I'd originally ordered a 42" but it was a bit tight across the shoulders (and by shoulders, I mean gut). Trousers were fine. At the moment my Heer uniform consists of a cap, insignia (with nothing to stitch them on to), bread bag, belt and buckle. I'm using my I...

Re: Pioneer/Alte Hasen Zug

Gents, it looks like I may have to go the way of the Fallschirmjager for this. I've had a uniform on order for two months; it had to be sent back as the tunic was a bit small, but it's taken a month to get this sorted out and now I'm hanging on hoping that it'll be here tomorrow morning. Not holdin...

Re: Pioneer/Alte Hasen Zug

I only have my MP40 and bring my 5cm mortar ammunition box which is currently turned into a Handgranatenkoffer. I am happy to take on an MG, if someone gets to tired to carry it. Boshman, do you have an ammunition box for the mortar and shall we use mine? Cheers Lutz PS: Supplier promised delivery ...

Re: Pioneer/Alte Hasen Zug

Well it looks like the Pionier Zug will be a formidable fighting force (on paper anyway) packing 2x MG42's and the 5cm mortar with (currently) 35 rounds of ammo. If anyone else wants to add to the mortar round tally then let Josh know in the appropriate thread, they are £4 a pop. I think we should ...

Good man :good: Unless the rules have changed, mortar smokes count as grenades so all within 5m of the landing smoke are dead!

Re: Truppenfahrrad - Grab yourself a bargain!

He's good with his hands, Martin! Neil, any chance you could get a close-up pic of the front brake arrangement, please? I can't quite figure it out. Also, can't get the verdammt pedals on yet, either - but a bike nut at work said he'd help with that, so fingers crossed, I'll be bringing it to Foy. ...

Re: Truppenfahrrad - Grab yourself a bargain!

The site for Op' Copenhagen positively screams 'use bicycles on me' however. :D I was very tempted myself, but I would want to use it normally too and I don't think it would be very practical on the edge of the Pennines. So are you actively encouraging the use of bicycles for the OP Copenhagen even...

Re: Truppenfahrrad - Grab yourself a bargain!

If you want an authentic pump and clips, German ebay is where you want to be. These are identical to the war time issue items. I got both for €15 inc shipping :good: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Fahrrad-Luftpumpe-Metall-mit-Holzgriff-Retro-f-Waffenrad-NSU-Opel-Miele-/00/s/MTY3WDMwMA==/z/qwwAAOxy2YtRt23x...
