Re: Allied Greatcoat Substitutes

Got a Dutch one, it's copied off the post war great coat, but with a change of buttons, works pretty well as look a like British one.

MK III/IV/V helmet

Hi

Looking for a british MK III/IV (or even V) helmet. If you have one lying around, that fits a 59cm (7 1/4 - 3/8 UK) head, send PM my way. Price depending on helmet type, condition etc.

Cheers, Lauri

Re: MK3/4 helmet liner question

Thanks for the reply McVickers. There seems to be little to none repro liners for the MKIII, so I suppose it's not possible to use a older type liner on the MKIV, seeing as it uses the lift-the-dot attachment?

MK3/4 helmet liner question

Hello, I've been recently been looking for a MK3/4 helmet, as it would work in both WW2 and a cold war british loadout I've been dreaming of. Well, as it turns out, a mate of mine has one (I assume it's a MK3), but the liner on it microscopic, I've got a fairly big noggin, so there's no way I can we...

M1 Garand rear sight

Mate of mine lost his aperture for his ICS Garand (in below picture). No luck in finding a spare from a store, no response from ICS. So my question is does anyone have lead where to find one or how similar a M14 rear sight is? To my untrained eye they seem fairly similar. http://i172.photobucket.com...

Re: MOSFET on sten

Is it possible to get semi with these? Most sites with buildings require semi here and using Sten there would be great.

Re: Webley holster issues (too much webley)

Also ordered one of the british holsters (not the bigger Canadian one). My webley fit without any probleems, extremely good luck I guess (returning not as easy as in the UK).

Re: Sten mods and upgrades

Actually they're quite cheap. The most expensive purchase is the charger, mine set me back 40€ (~31 £). The batteries themselves are way cheaper than the old NiHM in my experience (try shopping at RC-stores, just swap out the connectors yourself and save a bunch of money).

Re: Webley MARK VI co2 revolver

Is it possible to mod the power like on Dan Wessons, so you can use the normal shells?

Re: No4 measurements/blueprints

Yeah, I didn't use the warrens receiver at all for the model. Ended up measuring and putting together a model from pictures of the real one. The rest of the gun will remain as a "stock" S&S No4 though. So it will be a slightly modded S&S  . Will probably do some modificati...

Re: No4 measurements/blueprints

Dadio, how much work was/is it to lengthen the receiver? How much are they off? Going to search the forums for a bit for this as well.
