No4 measurements/blueprints

A friend of mine has access & know-how to use machining equipment and would be willing to fabricate a No4 receiver, bolt knob and the part at the end of the bolt. I would now need some measurements and/or blueprints for this. Using a S&S No4 as a base for this, not looking to lengthen the re...

Re: Today I....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the grub screw is beneath the barrel? I heard it works a bit with the screw, but still not a proper hop up.

Re: Today I....

Granger, the WE Hi-power doesn't have a hop up. You can fashion something to it but nothing out the box.

The lightweight one? On the belt definately. Tried it vertical with the strap keeping it on the belt. I prefer the hotizontal way with the clips.

Re: Finnish jackboots at Varusteleka

Pretty easy to reach too by public transportation. Trainstation is walking distance away (by my standards) and bus stops are ~50m away from the shop door. They usually have someone on staff that speaks English as well. They usually get some finnish (of course), german and eastern block stuff for sup...

Re: Today I....

McVickers & Dadio: No, this just clearly not what I ordered. Last time I ordered "midwar", looks okay(ish). This time ordered "1944" which is supposed to be closer to KG3 (and a bit darker). What I got makes the webbing natural webbing coloured, maybe a shade darker. I would ...

Re: Paras - Uniform, Kit and other Particulars

Okay, so I ordered the chinstrap. Don't know the issue is with compatibility or my noggin. The rear attachment point has no room between the liner for the leather straps. Also at the tightest setting it is way too loose for me. I guess I'll go back to my canvas one... :(

Re: Latest Acquisitions

MartinR, exactly. And huge difference in price for me, 50£+shipping (from Cost a fortune) compared to 10€ for me. The functionality (it's actually waterproof! ) also a factor. Now I have to just learn how to fold it under the flap...
