Paras - Uniform, Kit and other Particulars

Took some of my other helmet net's drawstring (super long). Another question, is the hessian tied to the net or wowen in-out the holes?

I'm dumb [emoji2]

Edit. Tuck in or cut off excess net?

Re: Paras - Uniform, Kit and other Particulars

No, it's a SOF MK2, so webbing chinstrap.

A link to the helmet net (in English as well :O). I think it is just missing the drawstring.

Re: Paras - Uniform, Kit and other Particulars

Ran into a problem, my para lid came in today, can't figure out for the life of me how to put the bloody thing on. Usually there is a quick release to open the chinstrap to put on the helmet, can't find one here. Also acquired a helmet net from a local surplus store, description said they're British...

Re: Today I....

Linseed oiled (again) both my No 4 and my mates M1 Garand. I'm thinking they're maybe done now. Lovely finish on the wood.

Edit. Can you sand after oiling the wood? Noticed a few rough patches I did not see before on the No4? I heard the oil makes it more visible?

Re: Paras - Uniform, Kit and other Particulars

Found a bit conflicting info, do para wings go on both shoulders or just the right on the Denison?

Re: Today I....

Ah, changed the chamber only to TM VSR one, my friend who specializes in bolt action snipers only had a chamber, not a rubber. I'll see how the Varmint one performs, and then see about changing it. Some manufacturers provide softer rubbers for lower FPS guns I think? Marui would prob be optimal, but...
