Re: Marushin M1 Garand parts

There was a brand "Dinosaur" iirc that produced replacement metal parts. I think the only website that still claimed to sell them was a somewhat obscure site in Taiwan.
I believe someone machined their own parts; either on this forum or the US one.

Re: RWA Lee enfield

Looks like the airsoft magazine is in the same location as the real steel magazine, plastic, probably removable yet only holds 30 rounds?
I guess there will be a L96 style loading arm to drag bbs from the mag to the hop up.

Re: RWA Lee enfield

How do they justify the "used most widely"? Canada and the UK were the only ones using the No.4 and fielded around 4-5 million men (in all branches: land, air seal). Compared to the Germans peaking at about 11 million in the Heer alone, and the Soviets losing around 20 million men over the...

Outside of that one set of SS guys at Poteau, during the Bulge, (one guy also has a M1 carbine), I've not seen (m)any photos of it in German hands.

Re: M14 to G43

It looks G43 ish - apart from the magazine placement.
But raffles is spot on about the strength of 3d printed parts, especially the thing bits like the front sight hood and front sling mount.

Re: Bren "Commando" Foregrip

Few photos of foregrip fitted with bipod folded in this thread: http://www.weaponeer.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5001&PN=2&TPN=2 Interesting development: these Bren grips have identical wood parts to those sold as "Mk.V" Sten forgrips. Probably the same workshop bashing out parts...

Is that tab protruding from the receiver (above the front of the trigger guard) integral to keeping the gun together?

The hanger bracket/feed tray ears are made from soft material and deforms easily; manhandle them until the drum fits tight.

Re: WE GBB M1A1 Thompson

Looking into my crystal ball: It will fire 420 fps on .2s (300mm barrel so it may not push 500fps on heavier ammo!), the whole trigger group will explode before RA-Tech make a replacement set and a set of 6 spare mags will cost as much as the gun. But it will only cost about $280usd, it will take TM...
