Incompatible VSR clone help needed

I am trying to figure out what rifle I actually used as the donor for my No 4 project. It closely resembles a TM VSR 10, even when you take it apart and look at the internals, BUT the cylinder and hop and the inside diameter of the outer barrel are narrower than those of a VSR. A VSR Hop has a diame...

Re: Excitement

Thanks, but while the hop looks like a VSR hop, it isn't. A standard VSR hop won't fit the rifle, the diameter is too large. I think the donor gun was a Well MB02 (It was sold to me used as a VSR clone before I knew better) so I have ordered the hop for one of those and am keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Excitement

Much excitement tinged with anxiety,: the hop unit on my No 4 is disintergrating... I have one on order but not being 100% sure what the donor gun was (mutant non clone VSR) I am not totally sure it wil fit.

Re: Favorite WW2 Airsoft Picture

Why thank you very much, you are too kind. I tend to use any old colour film from my local poundland, but not always, sometimes it will be Fuji. I can't remember I'm afraid, but it was probably 200 ASA because I normally use the sunny 16 rule and the shutter speed doesn't go up much higher. If I can...

It is a spring. It still seems to work but if it rotated while you were cocking it ist could be a pain in the arse.

Dboys K98 problem.

Hi all, The safety catch/ firing pin assembly on my dboys K98 is able to rotate (albeit with clicks) when the bolt is drawn back and can unscrewed, I am pretty sure it didn't do that before, but I can't be 100% sure as I don't use it very often. Is that normal or should there be something to stop th...

Re: Hiki French uniforms

Oh, and I do expect panatlones very soon because he has recenlty received a parcel from me with an original pair (along with an original tunic and a schipperfabrik cap) :-) His puttees are WW1 pattern though, still probably in use in '40 but the later mle 38 pattern were curved and had leather tabs....
