Re: Hello all...

Welcome Tom, good to see you here too, sadly I couldn't make In Country at CSW this year and what with you not allowed to come and play last year! Perhaps see you at a WW2 event before the next IC if my cash flow improves by then!

A beautiful piece of work, probably the best looking airsoft No4 build I've seen, you should be justifiably proud. :good:

Re: EVENT POSTPONED

Location in a lot of game cancellations has to be a factor, but that's sadly a fact of life. A game needs a location and no matter where it is it'll be out of range for someone. That has been my issue with WW2 Airsoft, with fuel costs and life in general the chance of me attending most events is non...

Re: ww2 airsoft in Fareham Hampshire

CSW has been my primary site since I started playing this daft hobby 14 years ago. A well run site with friendly staff with quite varied woodland terrain.

Re: M1 Garand Owners Club

I got round to getting one of those recently mentioned MAG short M14 magazines, it doesn't look too bad and as I said before that little extra capacity at normal walk on days won't go amiss.

Re: where to get rubber bayonet's ?

There's also this chap in the States that does a range of different cast replicas, here's the link to his K98 bayonet:

Re: King arms para carbine anyone?

True but for the want of a little more research on their part measures like that wouldn't be necessary.

Re: King arms para carbine anyone?

Perhaps one day they'll spend a whole thirty seconds more on research and actually a fit wartime pattern rear sight and leave off the bayonet bar?

Re: Public Reenactment Battles

We've used airsoft guns (we're pretty much all airsofters) in public battles for non firing roles (ie medics, radiomen, vehicle crews etc) as it looks better than having them unarmed. Using them to fire however just wouldn't work as perviously mentioned. Totally reasonable, in any battle display yo...

Re: Quartermasters Stores - Your kit queries here.

In fact there was a little clippy thing supplied which could attach ahead of the ejection port stop your fingers doing just that. I think even some stens had it built in. To the best of my knowledge it was only the STEN Mk3 that had an ejection port finger guard fitted. I've never seen any mention ...

Re: Paras - Uniform, Kit and other Particulars

Perhaps this had something to do with the lack of reply from Pegasus:- PLEASE NOTE "Due to a family bereavement pegasus militaria will be closed untill 28 august 2012 thank you for your understanding at this difficult time " Although from August last year to June this year would have one t...

Re: M1 Garand Owners Club

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but there is a short 70 round mag for the M14 which may not stand out as much on Garand conversions....... Now that is interesting, especially for those walk on days when you simply HAVE to go in WW2 kit and need some extra ammo capacity against "ordi...

I am very, very impressed, a beautiful piece of work. Will we be seeing a video of the special effects in action? I do hope so.
