Re: Spearhead

Cheers Poacher for telling me that. I looked through a few books and couldn't find any pics of shoulderboards set forward like that. I remember reading somewhere that Spearhead stuff wasn't that accurate and thought they'd just got it wrong.

Re: Spearhead

I got an M40 "Hohenstafen" tunic and M43 single button field cap from him back in October before the pound nosedived. Both pretty good value for the money at the time and they turned up within two weeks. The tunic was £35 I think. But the same one is now £51 so I'll be buying from the UK...

Re: Italian Camo Panzer Overalls

Cheers Steiner for that bit of advice. Thinking about it, I'm sure your suggestion would be the more sensible option. I have got a Spearhead M40 Waffen tunic I bought back in October before the pound went down in flames. It's not bad quality for the £35 I paid for it, although I wouldn't buy anythi...

Re: Selling up shed load of axis kit.

That's a shame, I'm only a shortarse with a 38" chest. From your description If I put that on I'd look like a camo bell tent with legs out the bottom. Oh well, I'll have to keep watching the For Sale section.

I was having a look at 1A KNACKMANDEL Militaria on ebay.de, and noticed he was selling repro Italian camo panzer overalls in various sizes for £35 plus postage.I was sure I'd seen some pics of Waffen SS men wearing them and I thought it might be a good loadout for a noob like me until I could affor...

Spoken German Commands

I'm new to WW2 airsoft and in the process of getting a 9th SS loadout together. I'm going to start playing at my local site in the new year and hope to get to the training day at Tuddenham at the end of February. I'm interested in learning the german squad level tactics and I thought I'd have a traw...

Re: Possible Game in Feb (non CiA Run)

Firstly, fair play to you guys for trying to get a WW2 game on down this neck of the woods. That said, I don't fancy an allnight game either. I did some of that many years ago on night exercises in the Brecon Beacons. Cold and dry was bearable, although a lot of people fell asleep. Cold and wet was ...

Re: Another blimin' Jerry

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Cheers CW for the offer of the last place in December game, but I won't be able to make it. I went up to my local site the other weekend and had a long chat with the guy who runs it. So I'm planning to get 3 games in December and January with them and my members ca...

Another blimin' Jerry

Hello guys, I thought I'd finally get round to my first post. I'm Nick from West Sussex, and at 51 I'm certainly going to be one of your older members. Been into WW2 stuff since I was a nipper, never been in the services but I did 3 years in the Army Cadets. Weekend camps, night exercises, mock batt...
