Re: What To Do With a Bar-10

I was given one of the old springer M14 rifles a few years ago and as it was a bit knocked about I made a cheap and dirty MAS49 lookalike out of it to use in Vietnam games. By changing it to have a hidden mag and ignoring the obvious differences like the bolt, I think it could pass the 10 metre rule...

Re: Which gun for me?

So you want a sort of generic ww2 period looking bolt action rifle ? How about one of these.... https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/hfc-vsr11-bolt-action-spring-sniper-rifle-ha-232.html Then get a few bits of wood, shape them up, and you end up with something like this... https://s17.postimg.org/7ywl...

Re: Buying a gun from Gun-Fire.co.uk

The MP40 is the one I want but I can't seem to find anywhere to buy the kings arms mid cap mags to go with it! Tiger111 in HK but shipping is more than the cost of mags.... http://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/product_info.php?currency=GBP&products_id=2646&osCsid=5618603331859db2c5ed7856cc7bc198

Re: Buying a gun from Gun-Fire.co.uk

I believe it might be illegal to import guns over one joule, so might be wise to get them to downgrade it before sending it over. They do a downgrade service under 'technical support' for 1 pence, bit of a bargain really. Also noticed that they have the AGM MP40 bakelite version in stock at £94.30...

Re: Lendlease to Soviet

I can recommend this book.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soviet-Soldier-Philippe-Rio/dp/2352501008 A very useful reference for all things pertaining to the WW2 Soviet soldier. About the only lend lease personal kit which was used fairly extensively were leather belts, boots, and some greatcoats.

Re: AFRA problem with Gunfire.pl

Good news, I`ve just received a reply to an email I sent to Gunfire yesterday and they now accept AFRA as a defence. Just ask them to put your membership number on the package. Sounds like they weren`t clear on the UK situation and had been told that UKARA was the only defence. Glad they`ve cleared ...
