Great suggestion for a new topic... :good:

Don't worry, if I don't get chance, I shall simply hide it under a "realistic" half face mask!

Re: The merits and demerits of full face masks - a debate

Or just keep your lips closed and grow a lovely thick beard to deflect all the nasty hurty bbs. Therein lies the problem not yet addressed in the past ten pages - the full face masks wearers can't grow beards. Gah, I have my naughty head on today. * whistles * I currently have a very bushy beard, t...

Re: The merits and demerits of full face masks - a debate

Heh, 'tis true! It may well be that insurers would prefer players not to wear full face masks since the player bears responsibility for injury, not the insurer (players always told 'at your own risk'). I'm not even sure owners of home-made full face masks or non-BSI or other approved standards kit ...

Re: The merits and demerits of full face masks - a debate

Ahh the nievity of people who say it's "personal choice"... ...as someone who's lost a tooth, and on a seperate occasion had to dig a bb out of my face, I no longer have personal choice, the missus tells me to wear a half mask! Didn't bother at Volturno (and got away with it), didn't bothe...

Re: 1911 brit holster

I'm probably going to explain this badly (and could be wrong), but I seem to recall reading that there are 2 types of '37, one with the fastner off-centre (the most common) that fits the 1911, and another with the fastner in the middle of the flap that doesn't.

Anyone else heard this?

I have a Tercel 1911, and it fits in my std '37 holster fine.

...I do however earn the (self-appointed) accolade of being the only person courageous* enough to turn up to a CQB fight with a DBoys K98... Every time I returned to the squad, and heard, chic-chack - pling from inside the nearest building, I knew it was you re-loading. So, did you ever get near th...

Oh rats, that's a real shame.

I was desperately hoping to attend this one, just couldn't commit yet.

Only ever attended Volturno with CiA but it was great, good luck whatever the future holds guys.

Could have done, but sorta slows down those "storming" building entries.

I'm, thinking about shoving an in-line mosfet in it, for these sort of sites.

Re: Info Needed on 101st airborne Normandy kit

That photo's in "Rendezvous with Destiny", after a quick flick through, it's the only one in the Normandy section that I can see a mag', the rest are either safely stowed, or can't be clearly seen.
