RIP Tim England "Pride"

Postby cjw957 » Thu Oct 27, 2016 12:02 pm

Been asked to let everyone know that may have Met Tim at a ww2 game etc that he passed away this weekend at the age of 55, Just as he was about to begin the new and exciting part of his life in the van, I have been told both of his dogs have been rehomed :)

I am sure we can all agree he was a great chap and a real asset to the ww2 groups, got me into the Gebirgsjäger loadout. which I still love and will find a reason to wear again soon :)

When I know the Funeral details etc I will post in case anyone else wants to attend

a great loss :(

RIP Tim

Pleasure to attend games and socials with him. Just such a shame he has proved himself right when he said he did not come from a long lived line.

My god, I can't believe that. We all had a great evening of yah-hooing before the Vierville game and Tim was on fine form. That is very sad news, he was a genuinely kind and generous bloke.

Very sad indeed. Goodbye Tim, you'll be missed.

I second that. So glad I was one of the few who had a drink and a laugh with Tim that evening. It was sad to hear that he was stepping down from WW2 Airsoft but this is so sad. A true gent who will be sorely missd. RIP dear friend :(

I am gutted to hear this. Tim was such a genuinely nice fella. As Chris said above, he was also responsible for my turning to the dark side and getting my Gebirgsjäger gear. A very sad day.

Unfortunately I only know of Tim from this forum & only a handful of games that we both attended at the same time & what I remember of the man was that he was just like the rest of us, loved running around with toy guns shooting each other & enjoying a good laugh at the end of the day.
May he RIP.
