I try to get in character and using my schoolboy German have been trying to learn a few choice words and phrases that could be useful. Things like orders, directions, insults & exclamations and even odd converstional pieces for those moments when you know the enemy is listening but don't want to let them know that you know. The trouble is I either forget or feel too self concious if no one else is doing it.

At Die Glocke I forgot the password in the afternoon and had to resort to shouting the likes of 'nicht schiessen, kameraden! Ich bin deutscher' etc at one point to avoid being shot at by my own side. Didn't work though. :slap: Maybe us German players need a training day to actually learn some German.

If you can you get this 'tutor' to dress up like a teacher I'm sure there would be plenty of takers for the training. Might even get Chommers there if she has a cane. :whiplash:

OK, so it sounds like we have come to the right place. Not for the strict discipline and german lessons, but at elast for thinking in character, silly accents and dramatic deaths. I have just spent the last weekend dresssed in chainmail talking in pretend Old Norse, which was an interesting challenge :)
