They are fiddly to get out - and that catch is not the most ergonomic of catches, but then again it is meant to work on the mag so meh. Threads? Oh I don't understand such things, I'll wait till Yith finds out an easier way and then do that.

Though it does get easier with a little practice.

hmmm... maybe, but you still need to activate the mag release... I can also see the threads getting a bit messed up in the cartridge belts and the bit of string will look crap hanging out of the bottom of the gun.

Well I've not tried it in anger yet. I have only got 7 AGM mags converted so far... Just another 14 to go. That's enough for a whole belt full and one spare.

I used a hicap when I played on Sunday... it was only an open day!

I had 10 in my bandoleer that you gave me. I shall have 12 and another 2 on the way for St lo. It was fun to go through them defending the 'hut' against Chomley while shouting words of defiance and... well missing, but it felt good. :D

I didn't use 4500 white bb's - I used a lot less light brown ones and I had no issues with using my rifle.

I can change a mag on my Garand quiet quickly. its all about practise.

I can do it in about the same time it takes to change a thompson mag for example. I've done very little modification to the mags, just chopped the lip off around the BB feed hole.

I suffered big time early on, on saturday with the wind. But once we dropped down deeper into the valley it really came into its own!

Sniper hunting was fun. Took out the last 4 remaining snipers in 4 shots. Apologies for shooting one in the gentlemens area.

That's probably why, then... They won't be perfectly seated in and could fall out.

Do you not have to do that? That's how they came from warren (I think at least - without the 'sticky up bit' where the bbs feed into the gun)

Yeah, warren doesn't do a complete conversion as far as I can see. The one lipton showed me had an notch cut in it as well...

no...
they won't feed whatever you do.

It's all about how well the mag is held in place.

My mags are held in tight. I might have to apply a bit of pressure on occasions to improve the feed but, im not worried about that. To me it helps with realism, acts like a Jam or a misfire.

I load 12 rounds into the mag i loose 4 on average. Leaves me with the perfect garand amount of 8 rounds.
