its 122 miles in the car for me

or, with google maps i found another route :


Walking directions to Leicester LE9 9FP, UK
91.8 mi – about 1 day 7 hours



so if i set of friday night ill be fine :rofl:

Yeah but is that unladen or in full marching order.... if you've your a frame, rifle, lid and equipment i'd add an extra ten hours on....

Even with a wind behind you 31 hours is pretty good going for 91 miles....none stop!

the time was the google estimate

91 miles on foot for me = 1 week :D

the only way id make it in 40 hours or less would be with the assistance of amphetamine (not unknown for guys in my old regiment to "bomb" a wrap an hour before the Combat fitness test)
