I've also found that older mid and lo-caps tend to have weakened springs and don't always have time to feed in the faster reset rate of lipos powered gearboxes. My MP40 feeds fine on a 7.4 but misfeeds on an 11.1

I was told the 11.1 will have a higher rpm effect, but didn't have 7.4 at the time,( the 11.4 was bought to run in an ak47) wasn't looking for high rate, just surprised how much! I changed gears, from a M4 kit to see if they would fit and work,......they do, .....too well! The real mp40 didn't have a high rate I know, so I will lower it to stock gears.
It runs about 340 Fps now, as I have done the aoe thing and fitted a Sorbo pad. I'll leave that as it is.
