Is it just my eyes, or is that a different sling on that?

Your eyes are good. :) It's an original WW2 soviet PPSH sling.

My mp40 is away being repaired currently.....am I going mad or is the cocking handle on the wrong side?!?!? :lol: :shock:

Oh yeah. I flipped them vertical in PS due to taking the pics upside down. Lol. :slap:

If you mean the...thing...that came in the box with the gun, a bit of old string would be better. :lol:
