That was a 6mm one - not made for a few years now. I wouldn't recommend an 8mm airsoft gun - ammo is prohibitively expensive, and as has been said already, a site should require you to have a lower FPS than for everyone else - thus your range will be doubly knackered by the heavier ammo and lower power.

Just ordered an MP40 from gunners & 4 mags from rsov.
Think I'll have to buy a camo smock just to start off with then add all the other bits as funds allow.
Because of my connections with The Tank Mueseum I'll probably go for some sort of Panzer impression. Might get a cabby if PzIII or Tiger 1 roll out!!

I know the Tiger has a rack for the MP40 in the Turret, did the crews carry standard belt kit or did they have an 'over the shoulder MP40 mag carrier/pouch?

Those M1 conversions look pretty good maybe the long haired general will let me get one in the future.

Hey great to have another german now you've switched sides - can you borrow a half track for us panzergrenadiers please? :good: Now THAT would be a good way to enter a skirmish!

AGM have a very good reputation for reliability, and for the cost I would certainly recommend them. Though I haven't experienced the other one (which I assume is an Electric Blow Back?) and I do not know the conversion rates for currency I would still advocate the AGM.

The AGM is about 142 GBP and the SRC electric blow back is about 275 GBP

I think I'l go with the AGM and but some mid caps from King Arms.
The local retailer getting the AGM's says he's got 4 of the last of the last of the last AGM MP40's he could get, I've heard AGM is closing down or something because of the clampdowns?

The AGM has select-fire (semi, as well as auto). The SRC is full-auto only (which is realistic).
The AGM uses commonly-available magazines (the same mags as their Sten). Last I heard, like their MP5, the SRC ones only take their own mags.

as he says above the src mags are very very hard to get and folks i know have had problems with them , the agm has been made for ages , harder to get now as asg bought tons of them and rebranded them as Asg

i know www.jdairsoft.net has them in stock.
