Jeds Badges

Postby cdfw » Sun Jun 05, 2011 8:15 pm

I'm half way through reading "The Jedburghs".. Fantastic book and loving it, But I read a line on the bottom of page127 which read..
"Cyr was in civilian clothes, but was wearing an army field jacket and the patch on the jacket's sleave told Powell that this man was a Jed"
I don't know much about this topic and personally feel it would have been best not to advertise who you are, but the author of this book is a well regarded expert on the subject who was working from word of mouth accounts, I think...
Just read the page and thought of this thread, so not really looking for a difinitive answer..
Regards Chris.
