It's certainly the first "combat" outing for my M1 (that's why I'll bring my "captured" MP40 as well, just in case!).

I won't even have an aeg as a backup now, as I've decided to bring along my shotgun instead to fulfill the backup role. The added bonus is that it takes the same mags as my Garand!
